Upcoming meeting of Syrian initiative for leader Ocalan freedom with UN officials

As part of the intensive efforts of the Syrian Initiative for the Leader Abdullah Ocalan freedom, at the internal and external levels, to internationalize the issue of Leader Abdullah Ocalan, and to achieve his physical freedom, a delegation from the initiative is meeting today with the United Nations Human Rights Committee.

According to the spokesman for the Syrian Initiative for the Leader Ocalan freedom, Idris Saeed, the delegation consisting of a group of jurists, among those who are members of the Syrian Initiative, and jurists who continue to work abroad for the freedom of leader Abdullah Ocalan, is scheduled to meet at exactly 2 GMT with officials of the United Nations Human Rights Committee.

The delegation will discuss, according to Saeed, "the isolation imposed on the leader Abdullah Ocalan, and the importance of ending isolation and his physical freedom".

Yesterday, the delegation of the Syrian Initiative for the Freedom of Leader Abdullah Ocalan handed over 2 million and 646 thousand and 211 signatures, collected in NE Syria, Damascus, Aleppo and other cities, to officials of the Committee against Torture in the Council of Europe, to demand the physical freedom of leader Abdullah Ocalan.

In the meeting held yesterday, the delegation called on the Committee against Torture to work and seek quickly to secure an urgent meeting for the lawyers and the family with the leader Abdullah Ocalan.
