The Lausanne and Sykes-Picot Agreement divided Kurdistan and the Arab states and established Arab-Turkish-Jewish nation-states; With the aim of turning the region into a war zone between these components, with the push of the dominant countries.

In order to stand up to this scheme that has bled the Middle East, the leader Abdullah Ocalan called for a new Lausanne among the peoples, which is (social Lausanne) based on the union of all the peoples of the Middle East, within a democratic confederation of the Middle East, opposing the Lausanne Agreement that was formulated by the dominant countries, so how is it possible application of this confederation? What is the impact of this on the future of the region through building political, economic and social integration? What is the best way for the Middle East to overcome its crises?

Lausanne peoples

In this regard, the Egyptian historian Ali Abu al-Khair asserted that: "The term "Lausanne of the Peoples" is a new and noble idea from the leader Abdullah Ocalan."

He explained to ANHA's agency: "The old governments of Lausanne in 1923 led to the disintegration and weakness of the countries through which they became independent, as wars flared up between the countries that became independent from the Ottoman caliphate, and before that was the Sykes-Picot Agreement and before that the agreement between England and France in what is known as the friendly agreement in 1904 to divide the Arab region." .

He pointed out that: "All those colonial government agreements did not only oppress the Kurdish people, but they also oppressed the Arab and Turkish governments, as wars flared up between Turkey and Syria, between Iraq and Iran, and then between Iraq and the Arabs after the invasion of Kuwait and the threat of the Gulf region, in addition to the establishment and establishment of the Israeli state." 1948".

He pointed out that: "All this digression leads us to defend the wonderful iron idea of the balance of peoples, because peoples exist and are permanent and governments are fleeting. The Kurdish people, although they are divided and distributed among different countries, but they are a continuous people and exist on their extended land and stable geography, and perhaps more stable." than the rest of the peoples in the region where there are national governments."

Middle East Confederation

The Egyptian historian believes, "The idea of a societal Lausanne is a good idea and aims for a confederation that includes all the countries of the region, so that governments achieve one goal, which is the self-emancipation of the people from the domination of the major powers and the achievement of stability among the peoples, so that no war breaks out between the confederation countries."

He stressed that "the most important thing is the existence of a real democracy emanating from the peoples, pointing out that in the societal framework, gains can be achieved, including the establishment and building of economic and social integration, stressing that this integration is what prevents states from interfering in the societal affairs within the confederal framework."

The Egyptian historian considered that reaching this democratic idea and achieving a confederation among the people of the region represents the hope and dream that must be pursued, pointing at the same time to the need to seek the release of the Kurdish leader Abdullah Ocalan. Because he is the best person who can bring his idea to life.”

Ocalan's isolation

Abu al-Khair stressed that "the complete isolation imposed on the leader and leader Abdullah Ocalan is completely intended to prevent his ideas from reaching the people of the region, noting that the forces opposing peoples' right to freedom fear Ocalan's vision to solve the problems of the Middle East represented by the values of freedom, brotherhood and democracy."

He continued, "Turkey has found nothing but to impose isolation on Ocalan to prevent the spread of his ideas, whether inside or outside Turkey, pointing out that tyrannical regimes only want to establish their authority, so it was natural to block Ocalan's thought from the world and isolate him from his people and the rest of the peoples wishing to spread tolerance in corners of the earth.”

Abu al-Khair believes that "there is a global disregard for Ocalan's case and calls for his release, because the West usually deals with the region with colonial arrogance for the sake of the perpetuation of Israel's survival, and therefore European-American governments ignore every real democratic claim, because it leads to the demise of colonial arguments," pointing out that it is natural That the institutions of the international community be subservient to the major powers and do not hope for good from them.

The historian stressed that "it is necessary to explain the issue because of which Ocalan was removed and seek his release, and the most important thing is to spread his ideology, which cannot be isolated from the free people of the world."

He stressed that "the democratic confederation, according to the proposal presented by the leader Abdullah Ocalan, is considered a safe haven to overcome the difficulties between the countries of the region in general."

He believes that "the confederation case presented in Ocalan's thought is good, because the countries in the Middle East are consistent in religions and geographically contiguous, and then they can live in a much better condition, as the confederation provides political independence for each country within its local scope, but unites with the confederation state in a unified army and unified currency." And coordination between them on public policy with other countries and international organizations, so that it is a policy of coordination between the countries that establish the proposed democratic state.

The Egyptian historian expected that "the idea of a confederation in the Middle East, if implemented, would face enormous obstacles until it came into existence, such as the rejection of the idea by the governments of the region and also the conspiracy of the major powers against it and an attempt to obstruct it," stressing at the same time that the matter is not impossible if the popular visions and cultural elites unite in the call he made Abdullah Ocalan and promoting it in the media and the people.
