4 of the Damascus forces were killed and 4 others were wounded in an Israeli missile attack on the outskirts of the capital, Damascus.

An agency affiliated with the Damascus government quoted a military source as saying, "At about 02:20 am on Monday, the Israeli enemy carried out an air aggression from the direction of the occupied Syrian Golan, targeting some points in the vicinity of the city of Damascus."

The bombing, according to the agency, "killed 4 soldiers, wounded 4 others, and caused some material losses."

The source confirmed that "our air defenses intercepted the aggression's missiles and shot down some of them."

According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights on July 19, 3 fighters were killed and 4 others wounded in an Israeli bombardment that targeted sites belonging to the Damascus forces and pro-Tehran groups in the vicinity of Damascus.
