Firat News Agency reported that, as part of a political campaign launched by the Public Prosecutor's Office in Amed, the Turkish police raided this morning the house of the journalist of Mesopotamia Agency, Firat Jan Arslan, in Ankara.

Arslan was transferred to the Police Directorate in Ankara, while the Turkish police confiscated his phone and computer during the raid.

Journalist Sibel Ukler

This coincided with the Turkish police raiding the house of journalist Sibel Ukler also in Ankara this morning.

According to what was reported to the agency, Ukler was transferred to the Security Directorate in Ankara.

Journalist Dalal Akyuz

The police in Izmir also raided the home of reporter Dalal Akyuz, commenting on the decision of the Public Prosecutor in Amed to start an investigation process.
