​​​​​​​On 11th anniversary of their revolution, people of Manbij affirm,

Hundreds of Manbij people and its countryside celebrated the 11th anniversary of the July 19 Revolution, under the slogan "The July 19 Revolution, a revolution for people's freedom and the democratization of Syria," in the yard of Al-Ghassaniya School, east of the city.

Dozens of residents of the city of Manbij, members of political parties, notables and sheikhs of clans, the Revolutionary Youth Movement, women's institutions, committees, civil councils, the Manbij Military Council, and guests from Tabqa and Kobani participated in the celebration.

The celebration began with standing for a minute of silence in honor of the souls of the martyrs, then Jahed Hassan, on behalf of the Democratic Civil Administration in Manbij and its countryside, congratulated the people of NE Syria, and said: “The July 19 revolution differed from the rest of the revolutions in the region, whether in Syria or in the Middle East, and derived its strength, organization and morale from the National Dignity Day, from the resistance to the hunger strike on July 14, 1982, from the resistance of the heroes in Diyarbakir prison in the face of tyrants and fascism".

For his part, the commander of the Manbij Military Council, Ibrahim Shridi, blessed the people of NE Syria, and said, "We bless our people and our forces on the anniversary of the July 19 revolution, which has been based since its outbreak on the standards of honesty, openness, transparency, objectivity, and the formulation of the Syrian voice".

He stressed, "We will continue with you on the constants that were the first criterion for launching the uprising of our people, and building the project of the free democratic nation".

The spokesperson of the Zenobiya Women's Gathering office, Riwayda Hunaydel, delivered a speech in which she said: "The July 19 Revolution is the torch that lit the path for the Kurdish people and the people of the Middle East towards self-confidence and adherence to freedom and democracy, this revolution came to confirm that it is the most appropriate alternative to the central tyranny regime and the forces that claim to oppose it".

Hunaydel called on "the democratic and liberal forces in the world, on this occasion, to stand together in the face of Erdogan's aggressive ambitions, and to show solidarity in order to consolidate the continuity of this revolution, which has become a hope for all humanity".

The celebration ended with holding Dabkah circles to the sound of revolutionary songs and slogans that salute the July 19 revolution.
