Turkish organization sets up new settlement in occupied Afrin

The authorities of the Turkish occupation state, through Brotherhood organizations, continue to set up settlements on the entire geography of the occupied Afrin canton, within the framework of the policy of demographic change.

According to a source from the canton, the Turkish occupation, in cooperation with the real estate engineering development company that works for the Turkish Daniz Feneri organization is setting up a settlement in the vicinity of the village of Kafr Safra in the Janders district of occupied Afrin.

The source added that the settlement includes more than 400 housing units distributed over 100 buildings, each building consisting of four floors, and work on it will be completed early next winter.

The source confirmed that the settlement will include the families of mercenaries coming from Eastern Ghouta in the countryside of Damascus and the cities of Homs and Hama.

The Janders district is witnessing an intensification in the policy of demographic change after the February 6 earthquake of this year, through the construction of settlements during this period, in the bushes surrounding the district and its villages, in addition to bringing Turkmen and mercenary families to the district to settle them.
