HPG kills 3 Turkish soldiers

The Media Center of the People's Defense Forces (HPG) announced, through a written statement, the outcome of a series of operations by its fighters against the Turkish occupation army, as well as the outcome of the recent attacks during the past 24 hours.

The center said in the statement that the operations came in commemoration of the 14th of July resistance, and in response to the continuous attacks of the Turkish occupation state on the defense areas of Media in Başûr (Southern Kurdistan).

The text of the statement read:

On June 12, at 10:30, Guerrilla fighters carried out a qualitative operation against an Amarok military vehicle of the occupation army, which began an operation in the village square of Kashin in the Abach district in Wan. In this operation, which was successful, two soldiers of the occupation army were killed and wounded.

On July 10, at 13:13, our forces targeted a position of the occupation army in the Kordina hill square with heavy weapons, which resulted in the destruction of the site and the death of 3 soldiers of the occupation army and the wounding of another. At 14:40, the occupation army returned to recover the bodies of its soldiers via helicopters. Our forces carried out this operation to commemorate the great death fast resistance on July 14th.
