​​​​​​​Ragheb Bashar Al-Fares: We will thwart occupation's plots with our solidarity, cohesion

The intensity of the Turkish occupation attacks on the region increased, following the re-election of Erdogan, who once again declared his enmity to the components of the region and targeted its democratic project based on the brotherhood of peoples, by launching drone attacks, the latest of which was the targeting of the co-chair of the Qamishlo Canton Council, Yusra Darwish, Vice President Lyman Shuish, and Council member Furat Touma.

Sheikh Ragheb Bashar Al-Fares, one of the sheikhs of the Arab Al-Zubaid tribe in Syria, explained during an interview with ANHA agency their position on the ongoing Turkish occupation attacks on the region, and he said: "It targets the unity of the components based on the brotherhood of peoples under the umbrella of the project Democratic nation.

Sheikh Ragheb Bashar Al-Faris noted: "Since the beginning of the Syrian crisis, Turkey has intervened in the region and its intention is to occupy and carve out parts of the Syrian lands, through its continuous hostile practices and its continuous support for terrorist groups."

He added, "Turkey is trying, through its attacks to give terrorist groups an opportunity to use them to complete the (Milli Pact) project in an attempt to return the region to 400 years ago, and to restore the Ottoman Empire under the leadership of Erdogan, the official sponsor of terrorism."

Al-Fares denounced the silence of the international forces regarding the massacres committed by the Turkish occupation against the people of the region, with the aim of prolonging the Syrian crisis.

He called on the components of the region to arm themselves with awareness of these occupation plans and to strengthen national bonds through the philosophy of the democratic nation to protect the gains of the revolution that were achieved with the blood of the martyrs.

Al-Fares stressed, "We must support the military and security forces, especially the young group to uncover the agents and spies of the Turkish occupation state, which is trying through them to achieve its plans," calling on everyone not to be drawn into the private war run by Turkish intelligence.
