The work of the first day of the international forum of the Rojava Center for Strategic Studies, which started in the morning hours, was concluded under the title "Lausanne: Correcting Paths and Issues of Regional Stability and Security."

The third and final session of the first day of the International Forum was discussed by the lecturer at the University of Rojava, Sourkul Abdulsalam, who welcomed the lecturers and confirmed that slavery was pursued against the Kurdish people and against its geography in general and expanded throughout history more and more by the dominant and occupying powers of Kurdistan.

The first axis was delivered by the director of the Rojava Center for Strategic Studies, Munther Shiyar, who touched on the Lausanne Agreement and the policies pursued by the countries that occupied Kurdistan and the nationalism - forced displacement.

During his axis, Munther referred to the policies pursued by the countries that occupied Kurdistan and pointed out: "These policies did not arise on their own. They were plotted against a people with a long history and their culture was persecuted. Four countries in the four parts of Kurdistan pursued certain dirty policies. These countries followed the methods of several groups against this component over the course of a hundred years, and wanted to eradicate this component from existence, especially the Turkish state, which is one of the dirtiest countries with a policy against the Kurds.

He explained: "When we look at history, it becomes clear that these forces coordinated among themselves to liquidate the Kurds, and this indicates their participation among them because the Kurds did not obtain their rights, benefiting from the experiences of the countries that preceded them in liquidating the Kurds, as these countries derived their strength through the Treaty of Lausanne, which gave them the constitution to continue in its dirty approach, and thus states were founded on the foundations of national ideology.

Shiyar drew attention to the displacement policies that Turkey pursued against the Kurds, and pointed out: "Many Kurds do not speak their language, so the policy of demographic change began in Western Kurdistan, so they displaced the Kurds from their homes and imposed the Turkish language on the Kurds, in addition to neglecting the Kurdish areas in terms of economic and municipal aspects, and caring for the Turkish region and applying the policy of Turkification of the Kurds, this policy from the beginning started in Turkey before other countries and there Turkey played an important role and it is the one who made the demographic change.

Seamand Maeeni: International law did not protect the Kurds

For his part, Maeeni the co-chair of the Kurdistan Free Life Party, Seamand Maeeni, in his axis about the situation of the Kurdish movements in the second half of the twentieth century, and he said: “The Lausanne Agreement is the annihilation of other nationalities and the recognition of other nationalities, and the Lausanne Agreement confirmed that the Turks alone as Muslims and non-Muslims have rights, so Mustafa Kemal Ataturk denied the identity of other nationalities and drew the features of a hundred years for the region, and now Turkey continues this policy, as Turkey committed massacres in Afrin and in Qandil, as it follows the same approach.

He added: "International law did not protect the Kurds, and today we demand these rights, and since the Lausanne Agreement was an international agreement and was followed by several transgressions against the Kurds, but until now there is international silence regarding these violations. After the Lausanne Treaty, several uprisings appeared, but everyone ignores the demands." The Kurds see the Kurdish issue as an unimportant issue

Maeeni pointed out that the Turkish state, in all its decisions and the steps it takes, is trying to commit massacres of genocide to end the presence of the Kurds in the region, and to block the way for this treaty and all similar treaties, we must raise our struggle to the top, so all forces that call for freedom must unite and that Establishing a joint and unified association between all parts of Kurdistan so that we can stand up to the Treaty of Lausanne, as this is the only way to do so.

Maeeni stressed the need to hold a Kurdish conference that would protect all Kurdish forces and serve the Kurdish interest, and it also requires the Kurdish parties to unify the struggle in all parts of Kurdistan for that.

For his part, Siban Ismail, a lecturer at the University of Rojava, talked about "the Treaty of Lausanne and its effects politically, economically, culturally and socially on the Kurdish people." He said: "The Lausanne Agreement, which divided Kurdistan into four parts, had negative effects on the region in terms of political, economic, cultural and social aspects." It is currently being practiced and applied, which makes the Kurdish issue thorny."

And Ismail indicated, in his speech during the third axis, that everyone agrees that the Kurds are no longer as they were robbed of strength and will, as they now possess strength and a strong political institution, in addition to that they have democratic projects through which they can solve the outstanding problems in the region.

Ismail pointed out that what can be drawn from all the interventions and the reality we are going through is that wars cannot be a solution to outstanding issues, especially the Kurdish ones, saying: " the wars have negative impact on our life."

Ismail said at the end of his speech: "From here, and through this forum, we affirm that only through peace can democratic projects be advanced and the road to all obstacles that persecute the Kurds and their just cause can be advanced."

The work of the first day of the international forum was concluded and it is scheduled to continue its work tomorrow with a discussion of the other sessions set up for the forum.
