Future Syria Party condemns targeting of market in Idlib

Today, the Future Syria Party issued a written statement, that reads:

At the beginning of the statement, it came: “The Astana rounds, have always carried the tragedies and suffering of our Syrian people as a result of the deals and bartering taking place at the expense of our people’s blood and sacrifices.

The last of these tragedies was what happened on the morning of Sunday, June 25, when warplanes barbarically and horribly bombed a market in the city of Jisr al-Shughour, located in the western countryside of Idlib, which led to the killing and wounding of a number of civilians, including children and women".

The Future Syria Party condemned and denounced "this act and bloody behavior towards unarmed civilians," and expressed its sympathy with "this horrific tragedy against our Syrian people".

The party called for the implementation of Resolution 2254, saying: "In order to spare all the components of our people the consequences of the policies of interests between countries that do not know the principles but rather achieve their goals at the expense of our people's sufferings, the Future Syria Party renews its call to all Syrian parties to work diligently to activate the political dialogue, in accordance with the UN Security Council resolution for a comprehensive political solution, and to establish sustainable peace in Syria in accordance with UN Resolution 2254.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported earlier that dozens were killed and injured in air raids launched by the Russian warplanes that targeted a vegetable market on the outskirts of Jisr al-Shughour, west of occupied Idlib.
