Leader Abdullah Ocalan's ideas; his physical freedom top the final statement of “Dialogue Forum”

The closing statement of the Dialogue Forum confirmed that the proposal of the democratic nation presented by the leader Abdullah Ocalan is a candidate to be the path to a solution, including the appropriate solutions in terms of political, economic and social aspects, and the demand for his physical freedom.

The Dialogue Forum held in the Lebanese capital, Beirut, concluded its work on the second and final day, which was sponsored by the Permanent Conference of the Lebanese Federation, in cooperation with the “Newroz Cultural Association and the Orient Forum for Pluralism, Demokrattia novus orao seclorum, RESILIENT BEIRUT”, under the slogan “Together for a Democratic Middle East.” - The road to peace".

The final statement, which was read by the university professor at the Iraqi University, Saif Adnan, confirmed that national intolerance, religious and sectarian intolerance, and the issue of women are among the main reasons that stand in the way of democratic transformation in the region, and in order to overcome this situation we need a new vision, and the proposition of the nation Democracy presented by the leader Abdullah Ocalan is a candidate to be the path to a solution, with the guarantee of appropriate solutions from the political, economic and social perspectives. Participants demanded the freedom of thinker Abdullah Ocalan.

The final statement emphasized that there is regional integration and that the Middle East region can solve energy, water and other political and cultural issues through a democratic confederation for the Middle East.

On June 13-14, a forum was held under the slogan "Together for a Democratic Middle East - The Path of Peace", organized by the Permanent Conference of the Federation in Lebanon in cooperation with the Newroz Cultural Association, Demomkrattia novus orda seclorum, the Orient Forum for Pluralism and RESILLIENT BEIRUT, with the participation of 200 political and academic figures.

On the first day of the forum, after the opening speech of Dr. Alfred Riachy, Secretary General of the Permanent Conference of the Lebanese Federation, the global crisis, its causes and consequences, and the repercussions of the crisis on the Middle East and North Africa, were discussed. At the same time, the impact of this crisis on Lebanon and ways to solve it.

During this session, the participants stressed that the global crisis is a structural crisis that needs radical solutions, and that one of the main causes of the crisis is the nation-state and the central system that failed to manage pluralistic societies and the absence of real leadership that represents the will and interests of the people, and in order to achieve a radical solution to the issues plaguing the region. In the Middle East, there is a need for a federal, decentralized, democratic political system, and there is a need for a social contract that takes into account the rights of all peoples, components, women, religions, sects and beliefs. It has been emphasized that the solution to Lebanon's issues can also be achieved under a federal democratic system.

In the second session of the conference, the popular leadership and the challenges it faces were discussed, where the focus was on the reasons for the arrest of Mr. Abdullah Ocalan in an international conspiracy, the current situation of Mr. Ocalan and the torture regime in Imrali, and how to struggle against this plot and thwart it. The participants in this session stressed that the issue of leader Ocalan is a people's issue and that it is a political issue, and there is a special treatment towards him as all international laws and covenants are flouted by Turkey and international courts, and pressure groups and international popular support must be developed to break the isolation imposed since more than two years.

What is happening in Imrali is a human crime, and the Turkish state must be held accountable for these practices, and continuous campaigns must be developed to achieve the freedom of Mr. Abdullah Ocalan. And that Mr. Ocalan's freedom will contribute to peace in the Middle East because it is linked to resolving the Kurdish issue, which is one of the most important issues in the region.

On the second day, the foundations of renaissance in the Middle East were discussed, where the importance of the intellectual and moral revolution, the women's revolution and the theory of the democratic nation were discussed as a way to solve the issues plaguing the region. Where the participants pointed out that national intolerance, religious and sectarian intolerance, and the issue of women are among the main reasons that stand in the way of democratic transformation in the region, and in order to overcome this situation we need a new vision, and the proposal of the democratic nation that was presented by Mr. Ocalan is a candidate to be the path of solution, including appropriate solutions from a political, economic and social point of view. All participants demanded the freedom of the leader of the Kurdish people and thinker Abdullah Ocalan.

In the last session of the forum, towards a democratic Middle East was discussed, where the focus was on what the common strategy for a democratic Middle East is, ways of joint action to achieve democratic confederation in the Middle East. Where the participants emphasized that there is regional integration and that the Middle East region can solve energy, water and other political and cultural issues through a democratic confederation for the Middle East, and in order to achieve this we must discuss together in order to develop a joint strategy that works towards achieving this thing, and in the last session focused on ways to solve the refugee and displacement crisis in the region, especially with regard to Syria, where the participants indicated that political and economic stability is the only way to solve this problem, and that political conditions must be created in order to achieve a safe return of Syrians to their country, and nations must the United Nations and the international community to fulfill their duties in this regard, and to press for radical solutions to this refugee issue. On this basis, the forum concluded its work.
