"The freedom of the leader represents the freedom of the people"

The Turkish occupation state continues to impose strict isolation on the leader Abdullah Ocalan, about whom no information has been received since March 25, 2021, as it prevents the family and lawyers from meeting with him by extending the meeting ban and disciplinary penalties.

The Turkish state imposes "disciplinary penalties" on the leader under flimsy pretexts such as "walking," with the intention of depriving him of the "right to hope" that gives hope to the detainee in his physical freedom, after spending 25 years in prison without any penalty.

The people in the Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafieh neighborhoods denounced the isolation imposed on the leader Abdullah Ocalan, and called on the Kurds all over the world to rise up and stay in the squares until the physical freedom of the leader Abdullah Ocalan is achieved.

Citizen Fatima Rashid, a resident of al-Maarouf area in the Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood, demanded to know the status of the leader, and added: "We want to know the health status of the leader Abdullah Ocalan."

And she denounced the conspiracies against the leader Abdullah Ocalan, and added: "We, the Kurdish people, will remain in the squares, and we will remain united, until the physical freedom of the leader Abdullah Ocalan is achieved."

For his part, the citizen Ahmed Salih Mustafa demanded to know the health status of the leader Abdullah Ocalan, and stated: "The Turkish enemy is afraid of the leader Abdullah Ocalan even in prison, because his thought and philosophy spread in the world."

Ahmed called on human rights organizations to clarify the leader's status and release his captivity. And he stressed that: "The Kurds must communicate their voice to the whole world in order for the physical freedom of our leader to be achieved, and for the whole world to hear that we want his physical freedom."

In her turn, Rasha Mustafa denounced the violations against the leader Abdullah Ocalan and the Kurdish people as a whole, and noted: "For more than two years, we have not heard news about our leader. We will continue to resist and struggle until our last breath."

Rasha Mustafa called on the people of the region to unite their ranks, and said: "We call on the people to stand side by side until the physical freedom of the leader is achieved. Without him, the idea that we all believe in, which is the project of the democratic nation, will not be realized. The leader is the leader of all peoples, and his freedom represents the freedom of all peoples."
