Families of martyrs slam disciplinary penalties on leader Ocalan

The families of the martyrs in Qamishlo denounced the disciplinary punishments imposed on the leader Abdullah Ocalan, and stressed: "We will continue to fight for the physical freedom of the leader Ocalan."

On the 27th of last April, the leader's lawyers submitted a request to the Execution Court in Bursa to meet with their clients, but without a response, and instead of the Execution Court, the First Supreme Criminal Court in Bursa that notified the lawyers. The draft notice stipulated that a new ban was issued banning meeting for six months.

Members of the Martyrs' Families Council in Qamishlo canton spoke to ANHA agency about the decision to ban.

Muhammad Haji Saeed indicated that none of the lawyers and the family had met the leader for two years, and confirmed: "This is an immoral behavior, the isolation is being intensified day after day. We, as the families of the martyrs condemn this isolation."

Thuraya Muhammad explained that the Turkish occupation state is tightening the isolation and imposing more penalties on the leader Abdullah Ocalan under various pretexts.

Thuraya Muhammad indicated that the leader Abdullah Ocalan expresses the hope of the Kurdish people and calls for the rights of the peoples of the world and the Middle East, and all parties involved in the conspiracy must be held accountable, and noted: "The leader Apo is the leader of 20 million Kurds, and that is why the Kurds and all his friends are fighting in the squares today."

Thuraya continued her speech: "The Turkish state seeks to exterminate the Kurds through its policies of denial and erasure, but for the whole world to know that the the solution is Imrali and the leader Abdullah Ocalan. We do not only demand permission to meet the leader, but we demand his physical freedom."

Saleha Mustafa denounced the strict isolation and disciplinary penalties imposed on the leader Ocalan, and stressed the continuation of the struggle until achievement leader's physical freedom.
