Syrian refugees in Lebanon praise AANES's initiative to receive them

In parallel with the movement of a some countries in the region towards the Damascus government, and raising issue of Syrian refugees in Lebanon by Lebanese forces, the Autonomous Administration in NE Syria announced an initiative through which it expressed its willingness to receive refugees, after the deportations carried out by the Lebanese authorities. AANES  confirmed that it is ready to receive Syrian refugees who suffer from a "very bad situation" in Lebanon, where its doors are open to all Syrians without discrimination as a humanitarian, moral and patriotic duty.

The Administration called for the need for the United Nations to provide aid and guarantees in order to open a humanitarian corridor between Lebanon and its regions to facilitate the return of refugees.The Syrian refugees in Lebanon praised the initiative and described it as humanitarian and patriotic.

In a poll conducted by ANHA agency with a number of Syrian refugees, the agency will keep the full names of the speakers to ensure their safety in the future from any security prosecution.

The Syrian refugee, Mustafa, thanked the "Autonomous Administration for its national initiative, which indicates its humanity towards all the Syrian people."

Mustafa confirmed, during an interview with ANHA correspondent in Lebanon, that "the Autonomous Administration is the only one that carries the concerns of the entire Syrian people, regardless of their sect or nationality."

As for the refugee Rakan, he said: "This initiative came at a sensitive stage, towards the Syrian refugees in Lebanon, and thus the Autonomous Administration adopts full responsibility for the refugees of all their sects."

The refugee, Abu al-Abed, asked, "Why didn't the Arab and Western media shed much light on this initiative?" Stressing at the same time: "It indicates the patriotism of the one who launched it, and confirms that the Syrian people, with all their sects, support each other without discrimination."

Abu al-Abed called on the United Nations and the Lebanese government to take this initiative seriously, and work to open humanitarian corridors. As for the refugee Murad, he stressed that "this initiative reflects a spirit of responsibility, and that the Autonomous Administration is a national force par excellence, as it expresses its willingness to receive Syrian refugees from Lebanon, and to do all the capabilities to it."

Murad renewed his thanks to the Autonomous Administration, and said at the same time that the initiative "confirms its patriotism without discrimination between all the Syrian components."
