Activist from As- Suwayda: AANES’ initiative is essential; must be taken seriously  

On Tuesday (April 18), the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria launched an initiative to solve the Syrian crisis, in order to reach a peaceful and democratic solution that would end the suffering of the Syrian people.

After its launch, the initiative was welcomed by many Syrian and Arab forces, parties, and personalities, with the exception of some tools of the Turkish occupation who attacked the initiative and tried to attach accusations and allegations about it.

Lawyer and political activist from As-Suwayda, Adel Al-Hadi, spoke about this, saying: "The initiative announced by the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria included important axes that could be worked on, although we believe that tyranny is the root of the Syrian problem, and that the Syrian people's revolution was a natural reaction." On the suffering of the Syrian people with all its national, religious and sectarian components, regardless of what happened to the revolution from the control of the dark forces over their representation and their usurpation by the tyrannical regimes in the region, whether the Turkish regime or countries that are similar to it in their hostility to the interests of the Syrians, and we believe that the time is right to put forward initiatives for a solution after that The suffering of the Syrians has increased to the point of threatening a complete collapse.

Damascus and all Syrian national forces must deal seriously and responsibly with the initiative

This initiative comes amid efforts to bring about a rapprochement between the Turkish occupation and Damascus on the one hand, and between the Arab countries and Damascus on the other. However, the Arab track witnessed a lot of changes during the past days, while the Turkish occupation refused to withdraw from the Syrian regions it occupies.

Regarding the way the Damascus government should deal with this initiative, Al-Hadi said: "The problem with the tyrannical regime in Syria is that it is not concerned with actual national sovereignty and does not care about the risks resulting from its rapprochement with the gang regime in Turkey, because the Turkish government cannot relinquish its control over The Syrian land is only forced, and the regime in Damascus does not have the possibility of imposing any settlement on Turkey that would be in the Syrian national interest. However, the formation of a Syrian internal front that is really opposed to the tyrannical regime can impose negotiations on the regime to reach a real secular democratic system and implement international resolutions in this regard. It's a positive thing."

He added, "The truth is that the Damascus government must deal seriously and responsibly with the Autonomous Administration initiative, but we see that the Damascus government's arrogance regarding the solutions proposed at home unfortunately prevents it from benefiting from any initiative," calling on all Syrian forces to interact with this initiative, stressing that " This initiative should find real interaction from all Syrian political forces, and it should be seriously criticized and discussed, and amendments should be made to it if necessary.

AANES is one of the best solutions available

Despite the regional and international movements and meetings, they were dominated by formalism and the nature of bartering without addressing the essence of the Syrian crisis and without developing solutions to it. Only the Autonomous Administration and the national forces in As-Suwayda talk in detail about solutions and that centralization, one-party rule and one nationalism are the reason the start of the crisis and without resolving these matters, a solution will not be reached.

After the people of North and East Syria succeeded in establishing autonomous administration and civil, security and military institutions that were able to manage the affairs of the people and fight all mercenaries, the people of As-Suwayda followed a similar path by forming local forces to defend the people of the governorate, in addition to the emergence of some forces, political parties and civil society organizations that organize from time to time, popular activities and peaceful demonstrations contributed to achieving a kind of stability in these two regions, unlike other regions that have become a hotbed of mercenaries and a place of fighting.

Lawyer and activist from As-Suwayda, Adel Al-Hadi, spoke about this by saying: "The application of any form of expanded decentralized administration, including autonomous administration, is the best solution available to move to the new stage that should lead the Syrians to building a democratic state based on the concept of citizenship and human rights." and the rule of law.”
