​​​​​​​TEV DEM: Turkish occupation state's acts are systematic and planned

Today, the Democratic Society Movement made a statement regarding the Turkish drone attack on a car in the city of Kobani yesterday, Tuesday, which led to the martyrdom of a fighter in the Syrian Democratic Forces.

The statement was read by the co-chair of the Human Rights Organization in the Euphrates region, Ahmed Dawoud, in Martyr Agid Square in Kobani.

that reads: "Yesterday, a Turkish occupation drone targeted a civilian car south of the city of Kobani, which led to the martyrdom of a citizen from Kobani and the wounding of 2 others, as this targeting coincided with the AANES initiative to solve the Syrian crisis."

And added, "The Turkish occupation state's continuation of its violations and its continuous movements in NE Syria directly threatens the lives of civilians, violating all international treaties and laws, without accountability or condemnation from the international community."

It continued, "Such targets against the regions of NE Syria is a real threat to the future of the region, and also pose a threat to the future of the political solution in Syria and undermine  International efforts to establish security and peace in the region, in an attempt by the Turkish government to export its internal crisis to neighboring countries."

And stressed that what the Turkish occupation state is doing is systematic and planned, and that international silence in this regard is nothing but evidence of international double standards, "as the repetition of such aggressive practices shows the reality that Turkey intends to impose on everyone."

The statement of the Democratic Society Movement in the Euphrates region condemned the "unacceptable and inhumane violations committed by the Turkish occupation state against the people of the region."

In its statement, TEV DEM called on the international and regional parties to "take urgent actions against the Turkish government to stop its hostile behavior towards the regions of NE Syria, whose people are fighting ISIS terrorism instead of  the whole world."
