​​​​​​​TEV-DEM congratulates Islamic world on Eid al-Fitr

TEV-DEM's statement on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr read:

On the occasion of the advent of Eid Al-Fitr, we extend our warmest congratulations and blessings to all components of the Syrian society in general and the Islamic community in particular. We also congratulate all the families of the martyrs, the wounded comrades, and all the freedom fighters.

These occasions carry in their morality human, social and cultural reflections to achieve a free and stable life. Hoping to make this occasion a means to solve all problems through peaceful means and tolerance to reach peace and harmony towards stability and security in the region.

The Turkish occupation state and its mercenaries are still exploiting religious occasions to achieve their chauvinistic political goals without mercy and disrespect for its values. The occupied areas, especially in Afrin, and the bombing of the areas of al-Shahba, Ain Issa, Zarghan, and Kobani, and the air raids through drones, which are considered a war crime against humanity, nature, and all living creatures, are nothing but a violation of all moral and human standards, just to pass their dirty chauvinistic policies on the societies that believe in peace and coexistence Common to all cultures and ethnicities.

We, in the Democratic Society Movement TEV-DEM, renew our blessing again on this occasion, and we affirm that we are fully confident that peace and harmony will prevail in all of Syria, and we also affirm the struggle to end the Turkish occupation of all regions of Syria and to secure a safe return for all displaced Syrians to their homes.
