Ongoing Protests against leader's isolation
The people of Al-Darbasiyah district stressed during a demonstration: "We will always take squares until we achieve the physical freedom of the leader Abdullah Ocalan."
Today, hundreds of residents of al-Darbasiyah district in al-Hasakah canton took part in a demonstration condemning the isolation imposed on the leader Abdullah Ocalan, raising pictures of the leader Abdullah Ocalan, and banners reading "There is no life without the leader."
The demonstration started in front of Haj Sultan Mosque in the western neighborhood of Al-Darbasiyah district, all the way to the Kongra Star Center in the eastern neighborhood.
When the demonstrators arrived at the Kongra Star Center, it turned into a mass gathering, which began with a minute of silence in honor of the souls of the martyrs.
Then, the Kongra Star spokeswoman, Rihan Luqo, delivered a speech denouncing the isolation imposed on the leader Ocalan, and explained: "We, the people of NE Syria, will achieve the physical freedom of the leader Ocalan.
Loqo appealed to all peoples calling for freedom and democracy, every woman and every mother seeking her freedom to rise up in the face of isolation, and to form a solid circle around the leader Abdullah Ocalan and break the isolation imposed on him.
The demonstration concluded by chanting slogans saluting the leader Abdullah Ocalan's resistance, "Long live the leader's resistance."
