The Media Center of the Syrian Democratic Forces published a statement about allegations that the Commander-in-Chief of the Forces, Mazloum Abdi, was targeted in the city of Sulaymaniyah in southern Kurdistan.

The text of the statement read:

"The news claiming that the Commander-in-Chief of the Syrian Democratic Forces, Mazloum Abdi, was targeted in the city of Sulaymaniyah is baseless.

The Commander-in-Chief is now at work, and the aim of publishing such news is political blackmail against some forces in the Kurdistan region of Iraq."
