AANES inaugurates largest university construction project in NE, Syria

On Tuesday, the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria inaugurated a project to build the University of Rojava in the countryside of Qamishlo, which is the largest university construction project in north and east Syria.

With the aim of facilitating and developing university education in the regions of NE, Syria, the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria today launched a project to build Rojava University in the countryside of Qamishlo.

According to the information, the project is one of the largest projects in Rojava and North and East Syria. The project is a huge university complex on an area of 800 dunums.

Once completed, the building accommodates more than twenty thousand students, and it consists of a large number of halls, auditoriums, art galleries, playgrounds, and gardens, in addition to university housing, which accommodates several thousand students and teaching staff.

It is scheduled that the construction of two housing units will be completed during the current year, which is a student housing that accommodates about 700 male and female students.
