​​​​​​​KJK: We’ll make Ocalan’s 74th birthday as an approach of ours  

The coordinator of the Kurdistan Women's Organization (KJK) made a statement on the occasion of the 4th of April, which coincides with the birth of leader Abdullah Ocalan.

At the outset, it congratulated, "We congratulate the Kurdish people who stand against colonialism with their will, the peoples of the world who have achieved an alternative concept of struggle thanks to the model, the female companions in the struggle associated with the philosophy of freedom, and the peoples of the world who lead a moral life thanks to the leader Ocalan, on the occasion of the birthday of the leader Ocalan on April 4 And we hope that this day will become a means of freedom, hope, courage, love, faith, and the revival of human values that have been destroyed by capitalist modernity.

The statement emphasized, "The leader Ocalan, with his courageous leadership, changed the bad fate of the Kurdish people, and got the Kurdish people out of the dilemma of surrender and employment imposed throughout history. For this reason, he opened the way for an uprising that will extend for hundreds of years in front of the Kurds, who did not accept this double imposition and fought for this matter." Through his sayings and thanks to this will that was created with great effort and stance, the Kurdish people have a position that enables them to thwart the calculations of fascism, colonialism and the dominant powers, and after him, he presented the ancient culture, philosophy of life and struggle experience to the existing struggles in the Middle East and the world and made them very prominent, and he delivered the impossible reality to the truth, like a flower blooming on the rocks, like water flowing in the middle of the desert, and like a light that penetrates the darkness, the leader Ocalan, who is the architect of this march, derives the truth of his leadership of the Kurdish people from here.

We will continue our struggle against the isolation imposed in Imrali

The statement added, "Women, who were subjected to discrimination and exploitation, have risen today with a great challenge against patriarchal regimes, and this was achieved thanks to the great efforts of leader Ocalan, and the free life experiences that began from individuals in the person of Kurdish women and spread within society inspire all women's movements in the world today." For this reason, we consider the isolation system imposed on the leader Ocalan as a threat to the freedom of Kurdish women, and the policies of isolation imposed in Imrali constitute a threat against our existence, and the leader used to say about the conditions in which he lives "I cannot breathe", and we consider changing these conditions as an issue Our presence, and we affirm once again our challenge to thwart the policies of imposed isolation, and we will continue our struggle against these policies based on double standards of international institutions, foremost among them against the European Committee for the Prevention of Torture in Prisons, which went to Imrali, but did not share its report on the leader Ocalan with public opinion, At the same time, the institutions and parties concerned with the situation that do not see the situation as a humanitarian situation must act, and we, in our turn, will also continue our struggle in this regard.

The statement referred to the leader Abdullah Ocalan's continuous resistance, "Leader Ocalan has been resisting for 25 years in Imrali prison against fascism and the dominant forces, and has transformed physical slavery in the model he had developed into a search for freedom that transcends borders, and began with the level of intellectual freedom and love of truth in himself, And he was able to give it to every woman, oppressed class, youth, social movements, and to everyone who resists anywhere in the world.

The statement stressed, "We, the Kurdish women, will not be satisfied with this matter, but rather we will achieve the physical freedom of the leader Ocalan, and for the leader Ocalan's 74 birthday to be the last year of our physical distancing from him."

Stressing, "We will strengthen our struggle for our freedom with our stage" With women, life, freedom towards women's revolution." We will continue our struggle and know that every achievement and position we have achieved in our struggle for freedom is a step that brings us closer to the physical freedom of leader Ocalan, and we will continue our march based on the principle of "women, freedom, life" with determination to defeat fascism and colonialism and to build a free life, and we will crown the twenty-first century with the women's revolution.
