During symposium.. SDC calls for activating role of clans

 The symposium was attended by members of the Syrian Democratic Council in the liberated areas, tribal sheikhs and dignitaries, and a number of political figures in Raqqa.

 The symposium began with standing a minute of silence in honor of the souls of the martyrs, then a member of the Relations Office of the Syrian Democratic Council, Hassan Muhammad Ali, spoke and welcomed the guests and had mercy on the souls of the martyrs and the martyrs of the Janders massacre, stressing, "We met today with you in order to activate the role of the clans of our regions in the political process and in the future of Syria."

He added: "We all see the rapprochement between the Damascus government and some Arab countries to solve the Syrian crisis, in other words, the international efforts to solve the Syrian crisis, whether in Geneva or Astana, especially after the Russian-Ukrainian war and the intensification of the conflict between them, in addition to the Saudi-Iranian relations. We can say that it will return to normal, but this  the changes will have an impact on our regions."

 Hassan Muhammad Ali stressed, "We must think carefully because we are part of the Syrian equation and the political solution in Syria, but the current situation requires us to get out of this equation in a stronger way and take strong decisions with the help of the clans of our regions."

 Then the door of interventions was opened to the audience, where the sheikhs stressed the need to activate the role of clans more and to form committees of sheikhs for rapprochement with Arab countries of a clan character such as Jordan, the Emirates, Saudi Arabia and Iraq, and to benefit from the Jordanian experience and work on it in aspects of interest to the Syrian people.

The interventions also touched on the need to "take caution and the role of the clans in imposing peace and security, and that the clans have an effective role in all aspects, especially the political one."

 After the end of the interventions, Hassan Muhammad Ali answered them and stressed that "every council of elders in the region must hold a meeting to evaluate their vision of the administration and bring it to the highest levels and focus on fighting corruption and activating the role of clans at the Arab level."

 Hassan Muhammad Ali concluded, "We are now in a fateful and existential stage, and we will decide our fate and solve problems with the regime with the will of our Syrian people and our people in northern and eastern Syria."

 The symposium ended with a TV show on the history of Arab clans and their role in expelling the Ottoman and French occupiers from Syria.
