​​​​​​​What happens in occupied Afrin since eve of Newroz?

 The demonstrators took to the occupied Afrin in all its districts and villages, in a demonstration against the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries, against the background of the "Ahrar al-Sharqiya" mercenaries committing a massacre against the citizens of Jindirsê district, for lighting the Newroz flame, to celebrate Newroz.

 On the eve of Newroz, the mercenaries of "Ahrar al-Sharqiya" committed a heinous massacre against 4 members of the Peshmerga family.  Because they lit the Newroz flame, injuring 3 others.

According to private sources from inside district, the injured and martyrs were transferred to the "military hospital" in Afrin, but the hospital refused to treat the injured, which forced the families of the martyrs to transfer them to the hospital in the town of Atmeh, north of Idlib, which is under the occupation of "Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham," formerly Al-Nusra Front.

 The martyrs are Farah al-Din Othman (43 years old) - Ismail Othman (38 years old) - Muhammad Ismail Othman (18 years old) - Muhammad Othman (42 years old). It was not possible for us to know the names of the injured.

 The demonstrators came from Afrin and the district of Rajo, Shih, Shera, Shirawa, Bulbulah, Mobata and Jindirsê, and rushed to demonstrate against the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries in occupied Afrin, where they went out in mass demonstrations, and went to the district, chanting the slogans "Martyrs do not die", "Enough of injustice and oppression and demographic change 5 years ago, long live Kurdistan, the Kurds do not die."

 The demonstrators demanded the exit of the Turkish occupation and all mercenary groups from the occupied Afrin canton. They also refused to hold a funeral until the perpetrators of the massacre are held accountable.

 Settlers in the district and the mercenaries' families attacked the demonstrators, severely beating them, and preventing them from continuing the demonstration.

 To cover up their crimes, some mercenary groups hurried to revive the Newroz celebrations, and to appeal to the people to participate in them.

According to a private source in Jindirsê district, the mercenaries of the "Military Police", with a naive representation, announced that they had arrested the perpetrators of the heinous massacre against the residents of Jindirsê district, but they changed the people who committed the massacre, in order to cover up their crimes.

 Pointing out that the mercenary "Hassan al-Daba'", the leader of the "Ahrar al-Sharqiya" mercenaries, committed the massacre, and fired directly at the citizens, accompanied by members of his group.

 Why did "Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham" intervene in the incident?

 After the injured and martyrs were transferred to the hospital of the town of Atmeh in the city of Idlib, which is under the occupation of the mercenaries of "Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham", the latter intervened to invest the incident, to settle scores with the mercenaries of "Ahrar al-Sharqiya" in the occupied Afrin canton, to show that "Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham" protects citizens from the groups  mercenaries.

 The demonstration continues in Afrin and Jindirsê against the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries, amidst chanting slogans and raising banners reading in Arabic and Kurdish, "No to killing civilians, we demand an end to crimes and finding radical solutions for the region, five years of injustice, oppression and demographic change, Afrin for the Kurds, every martyr is an olive tree and our tree  Do not die".
