​​​​​​​Bafil Talebanî offers condolences to Kurdish people over martyrdom 9 SDF fighters

On Saturday, March 17, the Syrian Democratic Forces announced the martyrdom of 9 fighters from the Anti-Terrorism Units, including the units' commander, Shervan Kobani, in the crash of two helicopters in Başûr (Southern Kurdistan).Through a telegram of condolence,Talebanî stated, "The martyr Shervan and the Anti-Terrorism Units (YAT) played an effective role in fighting ISIS mercenaries in Rojava and the Holy Land in Kurdistan."

Bafil Talebanî stressed that the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan is proud of the honorable history of the anti-terrorism units in protecting Kurdistan."

Bafil Talebanî extended his deepest condolences and sympathy to the commander of the Syrian Democratic Forces, Mazloum Abdi, the Syrian Democratic Forces, the Anti-Terrorism Units and all the people of Kurdistan, especially the citizens of Rojava, and said: "We share this great sadness with you."

In support of the YAT Anti-Terrorism Units, activists circulated pictures of the President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Bafil Talebanî wearing the clothing and emblem of the Anti-Terrorism Units while receiving delegations, yesterday, Saturday, following the SDF statement.
