​​​​​​​AA: Newroz feast represents spirit of liberation and cohesion

 Today, the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria issued a statement on the occasion of Newroz, in which it congratulated the peoples of northern and eastern Syria and the peoples of the world on this occasion, and confirmed that the Autonomous Administration project represents a part of the Newroz.

 He read the statement during a gathering organized at the headquarters of the Autonomous Administration in the city of Raqqa, in the presence of representatives of the various bodies of the Autonomous Administration, the military institutions, the Zenobia Women's Gathering, the Council of Martyrs' Families, the sheikhs and notables of the clans, and the Raqqa Civil Council.

  The statement was read by the co-chair of the Executive Council of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, Abd Hamed Al-Mehbash, and it stated:

 “The Newroz holiday represents a historic breakthrough towards human liberation from oppression and slavery, achieving freedom and a new rebirth of nature, embodying the spirit of liberation and cohesion between the components, insisting on freedom, challenging injustice and tyranny, and rejecting all forms of violence and genocide.

The revival of our Kurdish people and the peoples of the region for this occasion, their preservation of their historical heritage, and the embodiment of this in the project of self-administration, through solidarity, cohesion and sacrifice of martyrs, is nothing but a complete insistence on freedom and liberation from grievances.

 The Autonomous Administration project, in which the various components in northern and eastern Syria interact and participate, represents a flame from the spirit of Newroz, its meanings, and its great inheritance.

 On the occasion of the Newroz holiday, we extend our warmest congratulations to our people in north and east Syria and the various peoples of the world, wishing them well, affirming our insistence on continuing the struggle for liberation and democracy and preserving the unity, harmony and unity of our peoples in the face of attempts and projects of liquidation and denial.

 On this occasion, we renew our pledge to follow the path of the martyrs until victory and to fulfill the aspirations of our people towards building a free, democratic society with will and decision.

Likewise, we appeal to all Syrian national forces and international forces to make serious efforts to resolve the Syrian crisis on a pluralistic democratic basis, and to give up everything that hinders Syrian national consensus and understanding for the benefit of Syria and its people.

 We affirm that we are ready to play our responsible role in carrying out our Syrian national duties, with our full determination to continue our struggle against terrorism and liberate our occupied regions.

 The flame of Nowruz will remain the march of our people, and we will liberate our society with the spirit of Newroz and build a unified Syria, achieving the goals of our people and the aspirations of our martyrs for freedom.”

 It is scheduled that Newroz celebrations will be organized in Tabqa on March 19, while the people of Manbij will celebrate on March 20, while the people of al-Jazeera, Raqqa, al-Shahba, Kobani and Deir ez-Zor will celebrate on March 21.  A decision is scheduled to be issued to suspend government institutions on the occasion of Nowruz, according to what was confirmed by the co-chair of the Executive Council, Berivan Khaled.
