Two gunmen riding a motorcycle launched an armed attack on a car carrying patrol members of the Internal Security Forces. of the Damascus government forces, on the Damascus-Daraa highway, where an exchange of fire took place between the two parties; As a result, 3 members of the security forces and one of the attackers were killed, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

According to the Observatory, the dead man who participated in the attack was a former mercenary in the "Jabhet al-Nusra Front" during its presence in the area.

Thus, the outcome of the targeting in Daraa, since the beginning of this year, according to the SOHR’s documentation, has reached 87 security chaos incidents, all of which took place in different ways and methods, and resulted in the death of 73 people, most of whom were members of the Damascus government forces, citizens, and local militants.
