Al-Abed: AANES supports opening up to Damascus government if it benefits Syrians

 The Damascus government witnessed an openness by a number of Arab countries, after the earthquake that affected areas in Syria, which turned from a humanitarian event into a political one.

 In this regard, the deputy co-presidency of the Executive Council of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, Hamdan al-Abed, said: "What we noticed recently and after the earthquake is that there is an openness to the Syrian government by the Arab countries, especially the Emirates, the Sultanate of Oman and Jordan."

 Hamdan Al-Abed added: "We in the Autonomous Administration, hope that there will be an openness to all the Arab and foreign worlds for the sake of peace and peace in the region."

 Al-Abd noted, "If these directions by the Damascus government towards the Arab countries are beneficial to the Syrian people, then we welcome them, provided that they are within constitutional foundations in accordance with United Nations Resolution 2254."

 Hamdan Al-Abed welcomed every humanitarian action, whether by "Arab countries or any other country, to end the Syrian crisis and end the suffering of the Syrians, provided that it preserves the dignity of the Syrians."

The Autonomous Administration is open to the Syrian dialogue

 Hamdan al-Abed confirmed that the Autonomous Administration "is open to dialogue with the Damascus government and with all parties through our political, military and executive presence. We are ready for dialogue with all parties that want dialogue and a sound solution."

 Regarding the dialogue with the Damascus government, Hamdan al-Abed said: "The Autonomous Administration welcomes the dialogue with the Damascus government, provided that there is recognition of the Autonomous Administration's gains in accordance with Resolution 2254," stressing that "the Autonomous Administration wants to preserve the unity of the Syrian lands, land and people."

 Hamdan al-Abed called on "the Arab League and countries that wish to normalize their relations with the Damascus government to take into account the rights of the Syrian people, whether they are in north and east Syria, west of the Euphrates, or inside Syria, provided that it be on sound and equal foundations and that it preserves the blood and suffering of the Syrian people."

  At the end of his speech, Al-Abed stressed, "The Arab countries should be a record of goodness in seeking to resolve the Syrian crisis in accordance with UN Resolution 2254."
