​​​​​​​Yazidi House: targeting leaders of Şengal is continuation of ISIS ideology

This came during a written statement issued by the Yazidi House in al-Jazeera region, on Friday, to denounce the Turkish occupation's targeting of the leaders of the Şengal Resistance Units and Asayish Izidkhan.

The text of the statement read:

 " Under the sight of the world, the Turkish occupation state continues to attack and kill our people in Şengal without fear or indifference to law, custom or conscience."

 " We may ask...Why does the Turkish occupation state continue to target the elite of our people, amid inaction of the world ? Have morals been lost in the arena of global politics that raises human rights slogans and brags about them?"

"Has the world forgotten the suffering of Şengal and its extermination by a terrorist organization backed by Turkey, such as beheaded, displaced, enslaved and buried alive?! that approach of ISIS mercenaries and Turkey to eliminate everything that is authentic in the region, as well as an attempt to bury the only experience that the people of Şengal were able to achieve and manage their affairs through.

Experience has proven the futility of our appeals to this civilized world. Turkey continues its attacks, sheltering those we appeal to and those who claim their right to protect Şengal.

"As a result, the voice of truth remains faint without an echo. Yes, ISIS mercenaries wanted through their terrorist ideology to exterminate the Yazidis, but Turkey has seen the European parliaments it recognizes decision (Farman) Şengal as a genocide that aimed to erase a component from existence."

The Turkish occupation state deliberately annihilates our people, based on the legitimacy of its measures and methods, and does not fear reproach from those countries that do not respect the decisions of its parliaments, and what is worse than all of this is Iraq, which claims responsibility for Şengal and its people and insists on their citizenship and their association with the Iraqi state."

This saying applies to the region, as it is preoccupied with everything except Şengal.

Peace be upon our people, as it insists on protecting Şengal despite the great sacrifices, and glory and eternity to the souls of the martyrs of Şengal: Bir Gekko, Khairy, Aker, Sherzad, and all the martyrs of freedom and dignity in all arenas of legitimate defense (media), shame and disgrace to the agents of the Turkish occupation state, parties, individuals and governments.”
