Farid Atti: AANES with openness based on taking into account the interests of Syrians

The co-chair of the General Council of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria AANES, Farid Atti, affirmed that the Autonomous Administration is with openness on the basis of observing the interests and rights of Syrians.

After the catastrophe of the earthquake that hit Northern Kurdistan and Turkey and affected Syria, the recent period has witnessed an increase in visits and contacts by Arab and regional countries with the Damascus Government, and the Russian talk has returned about the rapprochement between the Damascus Government and the Turkish occupation state.

To assess this, ANHA’s agency met with the co-chair of the General Council of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, Farid Atti, who said: "The Autonomous Administration is with Syria's openness to the Arab countries, but on the basis of taking into account all the interests and rights of the Syrians who have suffered greatly from the circumstances of the war."

He added, "The Syrian issue is a political, social, historical and humanitarian issue, and countries that wish to find a solution to the Syrian crisis must search for a radical political solution for the Syrians, not a formal solution or according to their personal interests."

Regarding the old and new Russian talk about the rapprochement between the Damascus Government and the Turkish occupation state, Atti said that the rapprochement "is not in the interest of the Syrian people," explaining that "these are international interests, as each country seeks to achieve its own interest," and he said: "The Damascus Government should not hold any meeting with Turkey." except after it leaves the lands it occupies."

And he added, "The Turkish occupation state has been trying - since the establishment of the Autonomous Administration project - to thwart this democratic project, and constantly threatens these areas, with the complicity of Russia, which is working to ensure its own interests."

And he indicated, "The interest of the Syrian people lies in ending the Turkish occupation of the Syrian lands and the return of the Syrians to the dialogue table, and there will be no solution to the Syrian issue in Damascus only, but it must be open to all components of the Syrian people, according to a new constitution that safeguards the rights of all Syrians."

Atti stressed, "The Syrian people do not want a solution through trade-offs and following the policy or interests of some countries. Today, Russia wants there to be a temporary solution at the expense of the Syrian people, in the interest of Turkey or in the interest of the regime, far from the opinion of the Syrian people."

Atti explained, "The Turkish occupation state is still attacking North and East Syria, with its drones, at a time when the Syrian people are collecting aid for the affected people."

At the end of his speech, Atti condemned the actions of the Turkish occupation state towards the areas of the Autonomous Administration, its people, and the Autonomous Administration, and called on the international powers; Opening an investigation of the crimes committed by the Turkish occupation in the region.
