With the freedom of the leader all oppressed societies will be liberated

A number of residents of the cities of al-Hasakah and Aleppo denounced the continued strict isolation imposed on the leader Abdullah Ocalan, stressing that with his freedom all oppressed societies will be freed.

Following an international conspiracy involving a number of countries, leader Abdullah Ocalan was arrested in 1999, and he is being deprived of his most basic rights in prison, and from meeting with his lawyer and family. In a move that intensifies the isolation imposed on him, the Turkish authorities impose "disciplinary penalties" on him.

The continued strict isolation imposed on the leader Ocalan raises the indignation and resentment of many popular circles.

In this context, a member of the Young Women's Union in the city of al-Hasakah, Arin Mohammad, denounced the strict isolation imposed by the Turkish occupation state on the leader Ocalan, and considered the international conspiracy against him as a conspiracy against all the peoples of Kurdistan.

Arin emphasized that their primary duty is to work and fight for the freedom of leader Abdullah Ocalan, stressing that "his physical freedom achieves the liberation of all oppressed societies, so we will continue our activities, for the sake of achieving it."

'Conspiracy against communities and components'

For her part, Khalida Bouti, a member of the Kongra Star Coordination Committee in the city of Hasakah, expressed her indignation and denunciation of the strict isolation of leader Ocalan, and said: "The international conspiracy against him is a conspiracy against all societies and components."

Noting that the leader granted women their rights through his philosophy that calls for women's freedom, and their salvation from all kinds of injustice and tyranny applied by colonial and capitalist countries, "We will do everything we can to achieve leader Ocalan's physical freedom by organizing our events and activities within all arenas and fields of freedom."

'The end of capitalist domination'

As a member of the Council of Martyrs' Families in the city of Hasakah, Mahmoud Jawad, explained that the leader Ocalan calls for justice, equality and freedom for all peoples of the world, pointing out, "The capitalist countries find in this thought an end to their colonization and an end to capitalist hegemony."

He added that these countries "planned to arrest and imprison him with the aim of eliminating his democratic project and ideology, because it would lead to an end to their colonial projects."

At the end of his speech, Jawad called on the peoples of the region to continue the struggle to achieve the physical freedom of the leader Abdullah Ocalan, and also called on international and humanitarian organizations to intervene immediately, to release the leader Abdullah Ocalan.

Zloukh Abdo, a resident of Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood in the city of Aleppo, emphasized the need to end isolation, saying, "No one knows about the leader's status for more than two years, and we insist on hearing good news about him."

And she continued, "How long will the isolation last, every three months they renew the sanctions, to prevent us from our leader and CPT, the European Committee for the Prevention of Torture does not play its role regarding the decision of the 'right to hope' for the leader Ocalan."

Zloukh denounced the committee's position, saying: "It claims to protect the rights of prisoners, but it is the opposite, till now, it did not lift finger about the isolation of leader Abdullah Ocalan and the penalties imposed on him."

Citizen Nawal Muhammad, from the same neighborhood, indicated that the Turkish state seeks to prevent the leader's news from his people by tightening isolation and imposing penalties on him.

'Determined to free our leader physically'

As for the citizen Azima Qasim, she said in this regard: "We are steadfast and insist on liberating the leader physically. We will continue to call for his freedom until he is released."

And she continued by saying: "All prisoners have the right to meet their families and their lawyers, but because the Turkish occupier is aware of the greatness of the leader Abdullah Ocalan and the influence of his ideology on the people, it deprives him of his right to meet with his family and his lawyer."
