​​​​​​​Manbij.. 13 schools out of service, 9,000 students deprived as a result of earthquakes

 All schools were closed in the city of Manbij and its countryside, and after the decision issued by the Education Authority in northern and eastern Syria, due to the earthquake wave that struck the region, and the Education Committee in Manbij is working to communicate with the concerned authorities to find an emergency solution as an alternative for students, until the damaged schools are rehabilitated.

 In this regard, the co-chair of the Education Committee in the city of Manbij, Suhail Wali, said: "The earthquake disaster that struck the region on February 6 negatively affected students in the city of Manbij and its countryside, as schools were suspended for a week by the Education Authority." The engineering office team affiliated with the Education Committee in Manbij conducted a preliminary, full survey of all schools in the city and countryside, to assess the damages in school buildings.

 And he indicated that "about 146 schools were damaged as a result of the earthquake in the city and the countryside, in addition to the fact that 13 schools were out of service, and 9 thousand students were deprived of education."

The schools that went out of service in the city of Manbij and its countryside are as follows:

 High School for Girls - Al-Buhturi - Uqba bin Nafeh - Abi Firas Al-Hamdani - Omar Abu Risha - Al-Qasim - Moqbeleh Al-Bireh - Himar Ladd - Al-Arima - Mazraat Al-Arimah - Elam Elementary - Four Seniors - Small Town.

 At the end of his speech, he stressed that "the Education Committee in Manbij is communicating with the Education Authority in northeastern Syria and the Executive Council, to find a solution for the damaged schools, and to provide tents for students as an alternative to the damaged buildings, to complete the second semester, while schools are still closed in the region, to  To be restored and students returned to it.
