​​​​​​​KJK congratulates International Mother Tongue Day

Today (February 21) marks the International Mother Tongue Day, and on this occasion, the Education Committee of (KJK) issued a written statement, published by Firat News Agency.

At the beginning of the statement said: "The mother tongue, which is the identity and culture of peoples, is the most sacred natural right for person, especially for us, the Kurdish people, like the leader Ocalan, the real fighter for the Kurdish language, who opened wide horizons for the development of our mother tongue with his struggle and constant attempts, and spread among us the awareness of independence and freedom, therefore, above all, we salute him with respect and gratitude on this Mother Tongue Day (February 21), and we express our gratitude and thanks to him".

And also congratulated "in the person of all our mothers who raised their children and taught them the Kurdish language in order not to lose the values of our social and national culture, we salute all the fighters and Kurdish language teachers in the four parts of Kurdistan and abroad, and we congratulate them all on this day."
