Kalkan: people must determine their own destiny

A member of the Executive Committee of the PKK, Duran Kalkan, called on the people to determine their own destiny and save themselves "from this exploitative regime, and to reach that level of political security in which natural disasters can't damage it."

Member of the Executive Committee of the PKK, Doran Kalkan, participated in Special Program on (Medya Haber).

Duran Kalkan drew attention to the February 6 earthquake that struck Maraş, and affected 11 cities, and said: "May God have mercy on the victims, and I wish a speedy recovery for the wounded, and I share the pain with the peoples of Kurdistan, Turkey and Syria."

Kalkan noted "I thank everyone who provided support, and support was also provided from abroad, but the Turkish state was taken as a basis in this regard, while the existing policies of this state against the Kurdish people are known.

While some powers were able to help the local forces and society immediately, and some of them expressed a concrete position on this, and said that discrimination is practiced against the Kurds, Alawites, and the revolutionary democratic leftist powers, while the administration of the Justice and Development Party and the National Movement Party continues the method of comprehensive fascist attack, terrorism, extermination, and policy towards the earthquake.
