NE Syria's citizens send 40 aid trucks for affected families in occupied territories

40 aid trucks set out towards the Um Jaloud crossing, which separates Autonomous Administration's areas from Turkish occupation-held territories, while others are preparing to set off, carrying aid for the people affected by the earthquake.

The convoy, which includes 40 trucks loaded with aid provided by the people of NE Syria as part of the "Here is Syria" campaign, gathered this morning at the Furousiya roundabout in the northwestern of the city of Raqqa, and set off towards the Um Jaloud crossing, after supplied with fuel by The Fuel Committee of the Raqqa Civil Council.

Taha Al-Jaffal mentioned that 40 trucks were set off this morning loaded with all the necessary fuel and other things to reach our people afflicted by the earthquake.

Al-Jaffal called on "international and human rights organizations and the international coalition to put pressure on Turkey and Syrian regimes to open the crossings, because these convoys have nothing to do with political conflicts or war."

According to al-Jaffal, 20 trucks were prepared by the people of Raqqa, to set off, at a later time, towards the affected areas. This convoy includes foodstuffs, infant formula, blankets and all supplies.
