The Turkish gendarmerie beat a Syrian youth to death as he tried to enter Turkey to save his family from under the rubble after the earthquake that struck Northern Kurdistan, Turkey, and northern and central Syria, near the village of Deir Sawan in the Shira district in the occupied countryside of Afrin.
