Manbij administration bears responsibility of delivering aid to those who hinders it

 The statement of the Democratic Civil Administration in Manbij and its countryside came at the Al-Tayha crossing separating the areas of the Autonomous Administration and those of the Damascus government, while waiting for the two aid convoys prepared by the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria to cross for the afflicted in Aleppo.

 It was read by the co-chair of the Social Affairs and Labor Committee, Uqla Al-Mansour.

 And the beginning of the statement read: “On February 6, 2023, the whole country woke up to a catastrophe that shook the consciences of the whole world, and with hearts filled with sadness and sorrow after the catastrophe that occurred in our beloved country, in view of the tragic loss of life and the massive destruction that afflicted thousands of men, women, the elderly and children."

 The statement continued by affirming readiness to provide all kinds of support: "In the name of the people of northern and eastern Syria, and the Autonomous Administration of the North and East Syria, we announce full support with all our strength, as we are fully prepared to provide assistance to all the people of our dear country."

 During that, the Civil Administration of Manbij announced its regret over the politicization of humanitarian aid and added: "Unfortunately, this aid has been politicized from the human meaning to the political meaning. Our duty towards our brothers in the afflicted areas requires us to provide all that we can do in terms of material and moral assistance, and we stand in these hours in front of our convoys, which we demand to be brought in to everyone in need, or whoever is in need, and to deliver them as soon as possible.”

 At the end of its statement, it held the Civil Administration responsible for delivering aid to those affected, to the parties that stand in the way of its delivery.
