NE Syria's educational delegation participates in conference of GEF

As part of a series of meetings conducted by the educational delegation of NE Syria in Germany, the delegation held several meetings and participated in the conference of the German Education Federation.

The delegation visited Germany on the 6th of February, which included the co-chair of the Teachers Union in NE Syria, Nisreen Reshak, and the co-chair of the Education Body, Dilber Youssef.

During the visit, the co-chair of the Education Body in North and East Syria, Dilber Youssef, met with the member of the Social Democratic Party, CAROLIN KIRSCH, and parliamentarians in the Green Party in Germany.

The discussions focused on the training system in NE Syria and how to exchange experiences regarding the training system.

Youssef also met with researchers and teachers in the Department of Literature and Language at Cornell University in Germany, with the aim of strengthening relations and coordination between Cornell University and the University of Rojava.

On the other hand, the co-chair of the Teachers Union in North and East Syria, Nisreen Reshak, met with members and officials of the Responders e.v association, and the two sides discussed teaching methods and appropriate methods to develop them through art, drawing, theater and analysis.

The delegation also participated yesterday in the annual conference of the Federation of German Education, which was held in the German city of Göttingen, where the conference was opened with a speech by the President of the Federation of Education in Germany, Maike Finnern.

 The international field in all branches of the German Education Federation and focused on the need to support friendly federations and unions such as NE Syria and Ukraine.

During which the Deputy Co-Presidency of the Education Body referred to the education system in NE Syria and the difficulties facing the educational process, whereas Nisreen Reshak drew attention to the date of establishment of the union and the mechanism is work and the role it plays in creating a teacher capable of consolidating democratic education, and focused on the difficulties facing teachers and the educational sector in general.

The conference is scheduled to continue throughout the day.
