AANES calls for taking part in donation campaign for affected areas

On Thursday, the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria issued a statement to the public, calling for providing relief and humanitarian aid to the Syrians in the affected areas because of the earthquake.

The statement read:

"The earthquake that occurred recently resulted in catastrophic results. The shock and horror of what happened still does not leave the minds and hearts of the world. This event and what resulted from it requires that there be solidarity among peoples throughout the world, and that there be support by all means and capabilities for the areas that were affected by the earthquake." And in light of the ordeal that the earthquake-stricken areas are going through and in the midst of the collapse of thousands of buildings and thousands of victims and injured people, as well as the presence of many under the rubble, we must strive to provide support and aid, as human and moral duty as well as expresses the need of societies for each other.

At a time when we were pained and saddened by what happened to our people and our Syrian people as a result of this disaster, we call on the whole world and the region and everything that can provide support and assistance to contribute to the donation campaign to support the affected areas and help the people, whether in NE Syria, the Syrian interior and Turkey, where you can go to centers The Kurdish Red Crescent and communicating with it as an official institution concerned with collecting donations and delivering them to the areas and people in need.

We count on our people, with their various components and values, in this path, and we are all confident that our people are capable of carrying out their duties and responsibilities.
