4 international bodies don't respond to calls for lifting leader isolation

The Syrian Initiative for the Freedom of leader Ocalan has not yet received any response to the letter it sent to 4 international bodies last month calling for ending the strict isolation imposed on the leader Ocalan.

On January 22, the Syrian Initiative for the Freedom of leader sent a closed letter to the European Committee Against Torture (CPT), the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) Volker Türk, and the Secretary General of the Council of Europe, Marija Pejčinović Burić and the Secretary-General of the United Nations, António Guterres).

" Eleven days after sending the letter, the Syrian Initiative for the Freedom of leader did not receive any response from any of the 4 international bodies until the moment the news was prepared," the initiative's spokesman, Farzanda Munther confirmed.

The letter was sent via e-mail by the Syrian Initiative, and delivered to the 4 parties directly by the Human Rights Office of Al-Asr, included the items that the fascist Turkish state violated in dealing with the leader Ocalan in accordance with the laws (jurisprudence of the European Court of Human Rights - Standard Minimum Rules for the Treatment of prisoners in the Universal Charter on Human Rights), and called on those parties to follow up on the situation of the leader and to end the isolation imposed on him.
