​​​​​​​Commander : There is clear coordination between ISIS, Turkish occupation state

 The Internal Security Forces and the Syrian Democratic Forces continue to pursue ISIS mercenary cells in the region as part of the security campaign "Revenge for the martyrs of Al-Raqqa".

  In an interview with our agency about the course of the campaign, the leader of the Syrian Democratic Forces in the Euphrates region, Firas Çekgin, said, "The security operation came after a long monitoring by the security services, in cooperation with the Syrian Democratic Forces, of the mercenary activity in the region."

  He added, "The targeting of the points of the Syrian Democratic Forces and the general center of the Internal Security Forces in Raqqa, a month ago, came in conjunction with the continuous attacks of the Turkish occupation state on northern and eastern Syria, stressing that there is clear coordination between ISIS and the Turkish occupation state."

 He continued, "Of course, ISIS tries to reorganize its ranks and attack the region with new tactics by penetrating more into society, and we have realized this danger that threatens our people, and accordingly we carried out a security operation targeting ISIS cells in specific areas along with the Internal Security Forces."

 He confirmed that the campaign is proceeding according to the plan set for it, and added, "Our forces arrested a number of mercenaries, in addition to confiscating large quantities of weapona. Here, we targeted the plans that ISIS and its supporters were carrying out."

 He also explained, "There is good cooperation by the residents of the region with the security forces. We salute their great position in this campaign, and we point out the need to report any movements made by these cells to target the security of the region."

 In conclusion, he stressed, "On the anniversary of the liberation of Kobani, there are clear messages from the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries, as they work to strike stability in the region, but in the spirit of the Kobani resistance that ended ISIS geographically in Syria; we will be able to eliminate this ideology, its source and its supporters."

 Last Wednesday, the Syrian Democratic Forces and the Internal Security Forces launched an operations room for the "Revenge for the Martyrs of Raqqa" campaign.
