The text of the telegram, which was published by the General Council of the Democratic Union Party today, on its official website, stated:

"With great sadness, we received the news of passing away of the distinguished Egyptian personality and friend of the Kurdish people who advocate for their just cause; the head of the Egyptian Center for Kurdish Studies and Research, and the author of the book Ocalan: Leader and Cause; Dr. Rajai Fayed.

We sympathize with his painful departure, the Arab Republic of Egypt, the people and the government. We also condolence ourselves, his family, and all his fans. We ask Allah to bless him with the abundance of his mercy.”
