Security forces launch "revenge operation" against the spies in Shengal

Roj News Agency quoted a source as saying, "The Shengal Protection Units and the security forces in Shengal, have long been investigating the networks established by the MIT and KDP in Shengal, and after conducting the necessary research and investigations, the forces began to carry out an operation called "revenge operation" against the spies."

The source stated that the operation is still ongoing, and according to the preliminary results of this operation, "a number of members of this traitorous network were identified and arrested during this operation."

The source also added, "who were arrested in Shengal district, admitted that they are affiliated with the Kurdistan Democratic Party and the Turkish state and are working to strike the institutions of the Democratic Autonomous Administration in Shengal, the Asayish security forces, the Shengal Protection Units, and the Yazidi community leaders."

The source indicated that "as a result of these confessions, those responsible for the martyrdom of a number of Yazidi community leaders and the attacks on the Autonomous Administration institutions were revealed."
