Death toll of Sheikh Maqsoud building collapse reaches 5 children and women

The death toll from the collapse of the Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood building in Aleppo has risen to 12, who lost their lives, after 14 people were pulled out from under the rubble.

According to the Martyr Khaled Fajr Hospital, 12 people lost their lives, including 5 women and children, as a result of the collapse of the 5-storey residential building in (Marouf section) in Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood, and two other people were wounded.

After contacting the medical teams of the hospital, the identities of 4 people who lost their lives, including 3 children, were identified: Youssef Ja'rour (2 and a half years old), Hamida Ja'rour (8 years), Jamal Ja'rour (7 years), along with Radwan Muhammad ( 55 years).

The identity of one of the wounded was also identified, Jamal Jarour, in his sixties, who is the grandfather of the children who lost their lives. As for the two wounded, their health condition is not stable, as they will undergo surgeries.

While the emergency and rescue teams continue to work in removing rubble to extricate the survivors.
