Local sources from inside the occupied Afrin canton reported that the mercenaries of the Turkish occupation cut down about a week ago about 300 olive trees, belonging to citizens of Mabata district and its villages.

According to the sources, the mercenaries of the Turkish occupation cut down about 300 olive trees belonging to the citizens of Mabata district and its villages, and they are: (Mustafa Soro 53 olive trees - Ali Youssef 40 olive trees - Suleiman Bakr 45 olive trees - Hussein Bakr 35 olive trees - Adnan Hamzino 32 olive trees - Hanan Hamzino 22 olive trees - Hamzino Hamzino 20 olive trees - Aslan Hamzino 17 olive trees - Muhammad Mamo 16 olive trees - Mustafa Khoja 15 olive trees).

The sources added, "The mercenaries cut down these trees and cut them down, with the aim of selling them in the local and neighboring markets, where they transported them by large trucks in front of the mercenaries of the military and civilian police and the Turkish occupation intelligence, without any deterrence."
