​​​​​​​Instead of discussing and negotiating with Kurds, it talks with Turkey

Since mid-2022, the Turkish regime began to change its rhetoric towards the Damascus government, and changed its hostile rhetoric that lasted for more than 11 years to a favorable one within months, followed by announcing the occurrence of intelligence meetings under Russian auspices, and then holding a meeting at the level of defense and intelligence ministers between the government of Damascus and Turkey are under Russian auspices. Another tripartite meeting is expected to be held at the level of foreign ministers this month.

The head of the Yemen First Organization, Dr. Abdul Karim Al-Ansi, described in an interview with ANHA’s agency, the meeting that brought together the defense ministers of the Turkish and Russian occupation and the Minister of Defense of the Damascus government in the Russian capital, Moscow, December 28, 2022, as a "distorted, lame, very crooked meeting."

He added, "This meeting is disgusting for any analyst, political follower, or study center. First, Damascus entered into a shameful meeting with the Minister of Defense of a country that violated its sovereignty, and practiced all kinds of displacement, killing, and changing the Syrian identity in the areas it occupied, not to mention the great support it provides to ISIS.”

The Kurdish issue is a right issue

Al-Ansi believes that the Damascus government should dialogue with the Autonomous Administration instead of negotiating with the Turkish occupation state, and he said, "Instead of discussing and debating with the Kurds, he is debating with Turkey, as if the Kurds are not Syrian citizens. It is very disgusting for a country to abandon its sovereignty, people, and subjects, although the issue is Kurdish is an issue of right and an internal matter for Syria. The Autonomous Administration does not demand separation from Syria, but rather it is an administration in accordance with the global and regional orientation of the Autonomous Administration that contributes to the establishment of security and stability.

Al-Ansi touched on the Turkish goals of the meeting, and explained that Turkey always wears the mantle of the Sultan, and seeks in the coming period; to win the sympathy of the great powers; As a result of the approaching presidential elections.

With regard to Russia's plans, Al-Ansi explained that there is "a purely Russian attempt to drag Turkey into the conflict that exists after the Russian-Ukrainian war, which burdened Russian foreign policy and plunged it into a quagmire of endless battles, and Turkey will pay a very heavy bill if it decides to enter this war. Not the Turkish economy." Neither the Turkish opposition nor the Turkish people agree to that.

And about not attending the last meeting that brought together the ministers of the Turkish occupation state and its Syrian and Russian counterparts, Al-Ansi believes that "it came at the request of it (Iran) at the present time as a result of the internal situation it is going through, as it is witnessing widespread protests in most Iranian cities, in addition to the pressure European and American attacks on Iran about the Iranian drones that Russia uses in the Ukrainian war, and the series of sanctions that are imposed on it on a daily basis.” He continued, “We know very well that the Iranian regime identifies with the Russian regime to the greatest extent. Iran tried not to provoke the Europeans and America.

Al-Ansi did not rule out the approval of the Damascus government for a new Turkish occupation of the Syrian lands, and identified two reasons, "first: because the Bashar al-Assad regime benefits from that, and considers that Turkey's entry into North and East Syria is an exception, and second: the regime believes that any war between Turkey and the Syrian Democratic Forces will be in his favour."
