Qassas calls for the formation of Syrian revolutionary front

 On December 28, the Russian capital, Moscow, witnessed a meeting of the defense ministers of the Turkish occupation, Hulusi Akar, and the Russian Sergei Shoigu, and the Minister of Defense of the Damascus government, Ali Mahmoud Abbas, in addition to the heads of the intelligence agencies.

 Weaving of a tyrannical position

 About this meeting, the Syrian opposition agency and the head of the Modernity and Democracy Party for Syria, Firas Qassas, spoke to our agency, saying: "The meeting can only be evaluated as weaving a tyrannical position that targets the freedom and will of the Syrian people, embodied in the experience of democratic Autonomous Administration, which through its two sides is trying to besiege it and try to clamp it down."  However, this meeting contributed additionally to showing the truth of Turkey in front of the Syrians who revolted against the tyranny of the regime. These people thought for a long time that Erdogan and his government were supporters of the Syrian revolution, and according to a formal, linear and naive logic, some of them stood against the experience of northern and eastern Syria and were affected by the Turkish misleading.

 He added, "However, all of this is now exposed in front of them, and here they are announcing to the public that the contradiction between their will and what the Democratic Autonomous Administration represents is fabricated and a result of systematic falsification of facts that Erdogan and his government pursued against northern and eastern Syria."

 Regarding the objectives of the meeting, Qassas indicated that it "condenses in one very clear dimension: opposing the tendency of the Syrian people towards freedom, standing against its interests and will, and fighting the values ​​of coexistence, the values ​​of recognition of the other, and the pluralistic and decentralized nature of the Syrian state.  In order for their regimes to remain in their positions, maintain power, and establish hegemony, each over his environment and political meeting, all at the expense of the Syrian people and the Turkish people, their lives, interests, will, and dignity.

 An attempt to finish off the will of the Syrians

Qassas talked about the dangers of this rapprochement, saying: "Certainly this rapprochement constitutes a dangerous attempt to end the will of the Syrians to get rid of Assad's tyranny and the will of the Turkish people to get rid of Erdoganism and the rule of justice and development in the upcoming Turkish elections. Erdogan is ready to start wars and wreak havoc  with all his internal and external environment as a price for his survival in power, as well as Bashar al-Assad. Both of them, as I have always emphasized, are two sides of the same tyrannical, arrogant, racist and criminal coin.

 He added, "I do not see, with the agreement of the two parties, a threat to Syria. What each party can offer to the other will not change the direction of the power equations on the ground in terms of their impact on the experience of the Autonomous Administration, nor the path of the political solution in accordance with resolution 2254, despite the impact of this agreement on the situation."  The Russian Federation is from northern and eastern Syria, so the areas occupied by Erdogan and his agents will transfer them to the regime, and they are basically areas where the forces of the counter-revolution practice criminal behavior that does not differ much, if not more than what the regime practices in the areas under its control. There will be nothing new in this context, on the contrary, there will be  a new opportunity to unify the efforts of the forces of the revolution and the opposition that are not tailed and not affiliated with the Turkish regime with the efforts of the institutions and forces of northern and eastern Syria, which have advanced a lot in the path of achieving the stakes of the revolution and are still are a precipitating face to achieve them in their regions and constitute a practical model for achieving the goals of the revolution in all regions of Syria.

An opportunity to form a Syrian front consistent with the values ​​of the Autonomous Administration

 Qassas concluded, saying: "This rapprochement wants to deepen the Syrian tragedy, but I am inclined that it will not be able to do so. Rather, I claim that this rapprochement with racist authoritarian will will provide new and qualitative factors to form a Syrian revolutionary front and resistance that is consistent with the values ​​of the administration's regions and allied with its institutions.  You stand in the face of this rapprochement and the two faces of tyranny, both Erdogan and Assad, in my opinion, the Syrians who revolted against tyranny, the Autonomous Administration, and parties not affiliated with Erdogan, are on the verge of a better environment, to unify their forces and courses of action against their root enemies, both Assad and Erdogan.
