Mass demonstrations in NE, Syria denouncing Paris II massacre- isolation against leader Abdullah Ocalan

Condemning the second Paris massacre and the tight isolation of leader Ocalan, many cities and districts of NE, Syria on Tuesday witnessed various events in this regard.

Hasakah

The Young Women's Union of Hasakah canton organized a demonstration condemning the Paris II massacre and the severe isolation imposed on leader Ocalan, in which members of civil institutions participated in the Democratic Autonomous Administration DAA of Jazira region.

The demonstration began in front of the Leader's Park located in the Nassera neighbourhood, and proceeded to the Environment and Municipalities Authority building located in the city's Kalasa neighbourhood, amidst slogans "(Jin, Jiyan, Azadêm Women, Life, Freedom)," No Life without the Leader "and" Long Live the Resistance to Guerrilla".

When the participants arrived in front of the Authority building, they stood a minute's silence in tribute to the spirits of the martyrs, followed by a speech by the administrator of the Young Women's Union in the Ad-Darbasiyah district, Lisa Hasso, in which they saluted the resistance of leader Abdullah Ocalan in Imrali Prison, and said: "Turkey cannot break our will and will as long as we walk the philosophy of the leader.”

Kobani

In Kobani canton, members of the Young Women's Union of Euphrates region took part in a demonstration denouncing the severe isolation imposed on leader Ocalan and demanding his physical freedom.

When they arrived before the Council, they stood a minute's silence remembrance of the souls of the martyrs, followed by a speech by the co-chair of the Shiran District Council, Latifiyah Suleiman, who in her speech demanded that the Government of Paris not tolerate criminals.

"On the territory of a State that claims to protect human rights, criminals freely exercise their lives and assassinate Kurdish citizens in cold blood," Latifiyah Suleiman said.

She added: "We know very well that the aim is to thwart our project, so they assassinate every national figure who seeks to lift persecution of oppressed peoples. The Paris massacre is planned by authoritarian regimes.

Ain Issa

In Ain Issa, the coordination of Kongra Star in the district condemned the second Paris massacre and called on international forces to take decisive decision against the crimes that target Kurdish people and women.

In its statement, the Kongra Star noted that "this crime, planned by targeting the Kurdish people and striking their culture", recalling the martyrs of the first Paris massacre in 2013, martyrs (Sakîne Cansiz, Leyla Şaylemez, Fîdan Dogan).

In conclusion, the Conference called on international forces and rights organizations to intervene and prevent committing such as these crimes, and called on the French Government to uncover the perpetrators and bring them to justice.

The statement ended with chants that salute and glorify the martyrs.

Manbij

In the context of the Zenobia Women's Gathering in Manbij and its countryside, Tuesday, a statement was delivered in front of the building of the Democratic Civil Administration of Manbij and its countryside, in the presence of members of the gathering, the Women's Council, the Interior Committee, the Social Affairs and Labour Bureau, the Committee on Health and Political Parties and the Civil Administration.

The statement was read by the vice co-chairmanship of the Executive Council of the Democratic Civil Administration in Manbij and its countryside, Nora al-Ahmed, at the outset of which read: "The brutal attacks of the Turkish occupying state continue, seeking by various means to break the will of the peoples yearning for freedom and to break women's free will and undermining their freedom, by killing them in the most horrendous and immoral ways."
