British Defense: Air strike targets ISIS Leader In Syria's Al-Bab

The British Defense released a statement on Saturday, saying “a Reaper remotely piloted aircraft kept close observation on a building near Al Bab in northern Syria where at least one ISIS terrorist was known to be present

The air operation of British drones comes within the forces of the "International Coalition" under the name "Operation Shader", which was launched by the British Air Force in August 2014, with the aim of fighting ISIS mercenaries.

The air operations of the British Air Force are launched to survey and strike targets in Syria and Iraq from a base in Cyprus, according to the British Ministry of Defense.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights had stated, on Tuesday, December 20, that "a drone, likely to belong to the International Coalition, targeted, with an air strike, a building in Khalo Street in the center of the occupied city of Al-Bab, northeast of Aleppo, as a result of a person inside the building was wounded, and he is a leader of ISIS mercenaries who lives with his family in the targeted house, whereas he was alone during the targeting.

The Observatory indicated that "the injured person was transferred to a hospital in the city of Al-Bab, while his fate and whether he was still alive or dead were kept secret, other sources said that he was transferred to Turkey.

Turkey and the areas it occupies from Syria have always been a stronghold for dozens of ISIS mercenaries and their leaders.

Activists in the occupied city of Al-Bab said that the targeted person is called Basaa Ahmed al-Sawadi, a Yemeni, nicknamed "Abu Yasser", and belongs to ISIS mercenaries, and he worked in charge of booby-trapping and bombing operations between Syria and Iraq for years, before siege of Al-Baghouz (the last stronghold of ISIS in Deir al-Zor).

At the beginning of 2019, he  moved to Raqqa, and then to the city of Al-Bab in the countryside of Aleppo.
