Dignitaries, intellectuals of Tal Hamis call for leader's physical freedom

Notables and intellectuals of Tal Hamis district denounced the strict isolation imposed on leader Ocalan, and demanded his physical freedom.

On Sunday notables of Arab clans, members of civil institutions, and intellectuals of Tal Hamis district in Qamishlo Canton gathered in front of the cultural center building in Tal Hamis district.

The statement was read by the Notable of the Al-Bunni Sabaa clan, Hussein Al-Sada.

The statement stated " We denounce the heinous conspiracy that robbed the leader of his physical freedom, as its plotters are systematically trying to abort his project based on democracy and peaceful coexistence between peoples and nations."

The statement cleared, " by arrest the leader, the Turkish occupation seeks to root hatred among the peoples of the Middle East, to consolidate sectarianism among the people of one country, and to thwart the project of a democratic nation."

The statement continued, "The international conspiracy imposed on the leader Ocalan, because he was known for his struggle and advocacy for women in concrete and unprecedented steps led to clear results in the women's revolution that taking place in NE Syria."

The statement indicated "Today, we are convinced that leader Ocalan's philosophy regarding women constitutes the solid ground for formulating alternative solutions regarding women's issues and how to address them from the roots."

The statement called on "the concerned countries and governments, fair organizations and enlightened peoples to support those with just causes and legitimate rights, and to stop the systematic allegations against the leader in particular, and against the Syrian Democratic Forces in general."

In its conclusion, the statement affirmed, "The time has come to put an end to this farce and working together to release leader Ocalan and achieve his physical freedom."
