​​​​​​​Iraqi President condemns 2nd Paris massacre

Iraqi President Abdul Latif Rashid denounced the second Paris massacre that was committed yesterday at the Ahmed Kaya Cultural Center in the French capital, calling on the French government to quickly arrest the perpetrators and bring them to trial.

In a tweet on Twitter, Iraqi President Abdul Latif Rashid said: "We deplore and condemn in the strongest terms the criminal attack that targeted a cultural center for the Kurds in Paris, which resulted in the fall of a number of innocent victims."

He called on "the French government to expedite the arrest of the perpetrators and bring them to trial," stressing "the importance of combating racism in France, in order to prevent the recurrence of such unfortunate incidents."

On Friday, the "Ahmed Kaya" Kurdish Cultural Center and the Kurdish shops near the center were subjected to a terrorist attack by a 69-year-old gunman. This led to the martyrdom of three members of the Kurdish community, namely: "Avin (Amina Kara), one of the leaders of the Kurdish women's movement, Mir Parvar (Mr. Shirin Aydin) and Abd al-Rahman Kizil.
